As with the MR11, the MR8 combines two 16 input loggers with a reader. Designed for buildings with less than 32 apartments. While external loggers can be connected to the MR8, in the event of a power failure the external loggers do not have a 12volt power supply and hence will not count pulses during a power outage. Of course the two loggers in the box will count pulses during a power outage
